3 DAYS INTENSIVE

This in an immersion experience, designed for people who may not have time for regular classes and are looking for a different way to learn Spanish or Catalan and explore the local surroundings.

3 DAY INTENSIVE

This in an immersion experience, designed for people who may not have time for regular classes and are looking for a different way to learn Spanish or Catalan and explore the local surroundings. It’s a type of language activity break, always with the focus on language.

Read on to see what it includes:

    • A unique way to start, improve and build confidence in your chosen language that focuses on your needs and respects your rhythm of learning.
    • A passionate, empathic teacher who will listen and guide you safely through this learning experience while challenging and encouraging you.
    • 15 hours of formal lessons.
    • 15 hours of informal, guided time to include your chosen activities -culture, cooking, nature, gardening, walking, art…
    • Feeling at home, in a relaxed atmosphere while learning a foreign language.
    • An effective alternative to language schools.
    • Shared meals.
    • Planning and achieving your goals.
    • A reasonably priced language learning experience booked direct with your teacher.
    • Time for reflection and personal study.

PRICE:630€ per person or 430€ each for two people.

How it works?

 

On the first day I will collect you from Girona train station (if you don’t have your own transport), drive you to my home and after you unpack, we’ll start the morning formal lesson (3 hours with a tea/coffee break). We will then share lunch, after which there is some free time and, in the afternoon, formal lesson plan the programme for the next 2 days. Here are some suggestions for extra activities, although of course you may have some of your own:

 

A trip to the local market and traditional kitchen workshop. This is the perfect opportunity to widen your food vocabulary and interact with local people. Available Tuesday and Saturday mornings.

 

Bird watching at Aiguamolls de l’Empordà. Depending on the season we will see flamingos, storks and lots of dragonflies! Great for outdoor vocabulary – weather, landscape, plants and animals (+ supplement).

 

Cinema. Depending on what’s showing at the time, we can go to the cinema in Girona (+ supplement) or watch a film at home. Great for working on your listening and speaking skills, including expression.

 

Hiking. From the top of a mountain we can often be clearer about our hopes and desires. (+ supplement)

 

Cooking together. Great for discussing ingredients and recipes. Enjoy your meal!

On the third day, I will take you back to the station.

1:1 LESSONS IN GIRONA AND SURROUNDINGS

This option is available for all levels, including preparation for DELE and Catalan exams (materials not included).

PRICE: Depends on number of hours and location. Special introductory offer of 10 hours for 200€ at the LIVING THE LANGUAGE space or 240€ in your own home.
